A rousing, bawdy Southern fairy tale set in eighteenth century
Mississippi; The Robber Bridegroom is the story of the courting
of Rosamund, the only daughter of the richest planter in the
country, by Jamie Lockhart, a rascally robber of the woods. The
proceedings go awry, thanks to an unconventional case of
double-mistaken identity. Throw in an evil stepmother intent on
Rosamund’s demise, her pea-brained henchman and a hostile
talking head-in-a-trunk, and you have the recipe for a rollicking
country romp.

To Sylvie it's the "goose" that she learned from Alistair, but to
Philip, Joanna Markham's husband, it's "a variety of geese," and
fifteen years of marriage is just about undone along with
everything else in this wild zany free for all. Everything from
Philip's business deals with Bow Wow Books and Alistair's near
escape from Joanna's chiding seduction to the naked G.P.O. girl
and the specter of scandal is hilarious. A lot of bed hopping occurs
as Sylvie winds up taking Alistair on "walkies" and the amazing
Mrs. Markham gets her man her husband!

Marian Thorncraft is looking forward to her honeymoon with new
hubby, Tyler. She pictures someplace romantic, secluded and
cozy. No sooner have her feet touched the ground after being
carried over the threshold than she discovers her love nest is really
a one-time mortuary! Graveside Manor, as the locals call it, has
been abandoned for years, mainly due to the rumors of it being
haunted. Amid all the pranksters and ghostly doings, the manor is
about as secluded as Grand Central Station and about as cozy as a
bat cave! Throw in an absent-minded cop; the escaped lunatic
he’s looking for, along with a group of eccentric characters, and
the stage is set for a very funny Honeymoon at Graveside Manor.

The setting is French Guiana, a region where on Christmas day the temperature has graciously dropped to 104 degrees. A family whose roof is in desperate need of maintenance employs three convicts as roofers. On the way from France is an evil-minded cousin, to oust the father of the family from his business, and his cold-blooded nephew, who is jilting the father's daughter for an heiress. The three convicts—two of them murderers, the third a swindler—take the visitors on. All three have warm hearts and are passionate believers in true justice. Possessing every criminal art and penal grace, they set matters right and in doing so redeem themselves as real life angels to the grateful family.

* Asterisk denotes a 50th Anniversary Production.
